Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them – ISAYAH 42:9.
II THESSALONIANS 2:1-12 1. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Saviour Yahshua Messiah, and by our gathering together unto Him, 2. That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Messiah is at hand. 3. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4. Who opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as the Almighty sitteth in the temple of YHWH, shewing himself that he is God. 5. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6. And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he that now letteth will let, UNTIL HE BE TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY. 8. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom Yahshua shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. 10. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11. And for this cause YHWH shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but has pleasure in unrighteousness.
Before examining these verses further, one of them needs to be set right. Verse 7 in most Bibles reads ‘until he be taken out of the way’. This is inaccurate. The literal Greek reads: ‘until out of the midst it comes’, and means ‘until he is born out of her’: until the man-child is born out of the woman, the church. Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child (IS. 66:7-8). This line is NOT a reference to the rapture as the church believes and teaches erroneously.
Until the man-child is established, Father has no choice but to allow the spirit of antichrist to work in the church (eventually I will get to some of the ways this spirit manifests to a deceived church), and in the world. Once the man-child accepts Almighty YHWH’s calling and receives the anointing of David, the man of sin or false messiah will be revealed. This event precedes the coming of Yahshua Messiah and the gathering of the Elect about which Paul speaks in verse one, and is next up on our prophetic calendar.
This son of perdition must come to public attention and acclaim. Who is he? I do not believe he is the false prophet of REVELATION 16:13 and 19:20 who does not die, but this man of sin Yahshua shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and destroy with the brightness of His coming (v.8). Could the lightning bolt (MATT. 24:27) be going to strike this usurper dead? And it is unlikely he will sit in a literal temple. For a start verse 4 says he sitteth in the temple of YHWH. The Greek word for temple here is naos and means the central sanctuary or holy place, not just the temple precinct. I believe the Jewish desire for a temple in Yerushalem will be in vain, and that there will never again be a temple of YHWH built by human hands. It is more likely this false messiah heads up a church or congregation, that is, the spiritual temple, or tries to.
If the Israeli Jews do somehow manage to build themselves a temple in Yerushalem, the edifice will be short-lived. The reason why is inextricably tied up with this man of sin.
A FINAL OVERTURN OR TWO
Casting our minds back to the throne of David and the final overturn, we learn there is to be a replacement king for Prince Charles. A certain man, alive and active in the world today, so I have been told, was prepared by YHWH to sit on David’s throne to rule with Messiah. Instead this man took what Satan offered because he deemed Father’s offering to him not enough! Somewhat akin to Yahshua accepting His adversary’s proffered all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them (MATT. 4:8). This man was given by his now father, the devil, the principality of Leviathan to assist his reign. How many others have fallen for this same ruse thinking they are still serving the Most High? No one could do such a thing without being possessed of the prideful principle of out most vehement spiritual enemy. This would-be king turned traitor, then, claims the second overturn, the first having been applied millennia ago to Tea Tephi and her husband, the Heremon in Ireland. The third and last, of course, has the true king, the BRANCH’s, name on it.
ISAYAH 14:12-20 How thou art fallen, O Lucifer, son of the morning? how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of YHWH: I will sit also above the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms. That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened the house of his prisoners? All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable BRANCH, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
This is written here in its entirety to show my belief that it describes not only Lucifer (v.12); and the king of Babylon (v.4, not written); but this false messiah, an abominable branch (v.19). The false prophet does not die and need a grave, but goes alive into the Lake of Fire. We note the abominable branch is cast alive out of his grave. Like those ancient kings of Yudah who pursued an evil reign, they were not buried with their fathers in Yerushalem (v.18). Some were buried in their own gardens, some weren’t buried at all, or even eaten by dogs. It sounds like once this man is killed and buried that afterwards his body manages to exit his grave, perhaps by a bomb hitting it in the coming war in Israel. His body obviously is bloodied and trodden under feet.
The man of sin is a Jew, resident in Israel and will be revealed there as the Jews’ messiah. It was told me he will initially deny this revelation, but a short while later publicly claim to be the Messiah. If David Korresh could do it and be believed by his followers, why not this man? He must be well-known, possibly a rabbi or spiritual leader. Remember, the Jews rejected their true Saviour two thousand years ago so are still awaiting their Messiah and King, a son of David. They hate YHWH with a vengeance, therefore will claim this man as their saviour.
This will continue next post so please stay tuned. And those who are prayer warriors (that’s everyone I hope) I urge to pray for all Christians in Israel, especially those who were once Jews–they generally call themselves Messianic Jews–that they do not fall for this ruse of Satan if and when it occurs, and be numbered among the slain when their land is destroyed (IS. 14:20).
