CHAPTER 19: ALLELUYAH, YHWH OMNIPOTENT REINETH!
Originally I was not going to write anymore about REVELATION because my blog is a warning, after all. Because by the middle of the LAST SEVEN YEARS most people left on Earth will be aware of the truth of what is happening, whether they believe it or not. But I realize there will be readers who do not read or study the Scriptures, so the warning parts will be somewhat confronting to them, and there will seem to be little to look forward to in our future. This is definitely NOT the case, as most of the final chapters indeed show.
It should be everyone’s goal to reach the stage of chapter 19, as those SEVEN YEARS end, with, at the very least, their souls saved. It’s my goal and prayer to reach at least the 144,000 men and their families YHWH is now calling out of Babylon. We could possibly– and the Scriptures I’ve covered seem to point to this–be within between one and eight years before the onset of the Great Tribulation and Yahshua Messiah’s second coming. As He once told a group of us: Time is short beyond belief. So I urge you, seek Him for truth, and prepare. We have NOTHING to lose by becoming more righteous and less dependent on the world NOW.
In chapter 19 we come to Yahshua’s FOURTH and final coming. Fourth, I say? Yes. If you somehow missed this and can’t do the maths very well, here they are:
- First coming: as a baby in a virgin’s womb, to the land of Yudaea between 5 BC and AD 30. He was 33 years old when He died.
- Second coming: when He comes to gather His Elect at the beginning of the Great Tribulation.
- Third coming: when He comes to rapture His Elect to Heaven with the dead in Messiah, in the middle of the LAST SEVEN YEARS OF TRIBULATION – at the last trump.
- Fourth coming: when He returns with the armies of Heaven to the battle of Armageddon and to establish His millennial reign of peace.
(Don’t worry, I wasn’t very good at maths either until I homeschooled three children for 15 years, right through to calculus in Year 12!)
Two events have recently happened:
- YHWH hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication;
- He hath avenged the blood of His servants at her hand.
Now the marriage of the Lamb is come (v.7). Yahshua returns with His armies on the horses of Heaven, all clothed in spotless white linen, showing their righteousness (v.8, 11, 14). Verse 10 tells us all who have the true testimony of Yahshua will have a spirit of prophecy. The words they utter will be YHWH’s.
We come to the gathering of the beast with his kings and armies–all mankind remaining on Earth–at Armageddon (v.18-19). Whatever they are planning on doing here, it doesn’t work out for them. They should have read the Scriptures before such a reckless undertaking.
There is no doubt here. The Word is absolutely clear on this point: the remnant which is this army is slain, all who received the mark of the beast. All who refused it have been martyred by the great whore. The beast and false prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire. By the beast is meant all the demons participating in that worldly New Age government. They are apparently so heinously wicked they get to forego the honour of being locked in Hell for one thousand years. Father has no more need for such a government to ever rule on Earth. That’s good news for the children born during the Millennium, for they are yet to be judged. The others who were slain, however, do go to Hell to await their final judgment (v.20-21).
What is also shown is that the marriage supper of the Lamb commences back on Earth (REV. 19:9, 17). The Church in the wilderness can come out from her hiding place to share in it.
CHAPTER 20: SATAN BOUND AND RELEASED
The main points of this chapter are:
- Satan is bound in the abyss (Hell) for the thousand years (v.2);
- Those martyred for Yahshua in the final three and a half years for refusing the mark receive their heads back to live and reign with Messiah (v.4);
- One thousand years pass;
- Satan shall be loosed out of his prison (v.7);
- He goes out to tempt into serving him all those born during the Millennium (v.8-9);
- Fire comes down from YHWH out of Heaven to devour Satan, Gog and Magog, and their army (v.9);
- The devil and presumably all the remaining demons with him are cast into the lake of fire (v.10);
- The dead in Hell are brought before Almighty YHWH for their White Throne Judgment, a. According to their previous works on Earth written in the books of their lives, and b. According to whether their names are in the Book of Life as a result of those works (v.12-13);
- Whosoever of them whose name was not written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
CHAPTER 21: NEW HEAVENS AND EARTH
Our most wonderful Creator then fashions for His people a new Earth and heavens, for the old ones fled away or were in some manner destroyed at the White Throne Judgment (REV. 20:11). These are not His Heavenly abode but the starry heavens of the universe. On the new earth are no oceans. The oceans are but symbolic of sinful mankind.
While this is happening the saints are probably kept in Heaven. When Father’s recreating is done, the New Yerushalem–composed of living stones–comes back down to Earth with Him forever living in their midst (v.2-3). John is given a glimpse of this fabulous city, the description of which you may read for yourself.
Before we reach the very last chapter–and no, I am not leaving my blog there–I’ll suggest a revelation I received only recently. I always wondered where the lake of fire was, is, or will be because it is not referred to anywhere else in the Scriptures. We know Hell is in the middle of the earth. Many Scriptures attest to this, and people have visited there to return to tell about it. But the lake of fire, where?
One day I was reading about the winepress of the wrath of YHWH during the last great harvest of souls. It says in REVELATION 14:19-20 …blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. That’s one seriously long lake of blood – 320 kilometres. We can probably wrap our minds around this becoming a lake of BURNING blood. Anyway, it is just a thought.
CHAPTER 22: BLESSINGS AND WARNINGS
It needeth not me to speak for it, for the Word speaketh for itself here. A pure river of water of life, the tree of life. No more curse (from sin).The throne of YHWH and of the Lamb. His servants shall serve Him, His name in their foreheads. No night there, neither light of the sun; for Father YHWH shall give them light. They shall reign for ever and ever. Blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
The saints sharing in this eternal life of beauty and joy are those who will have obeyed Father’s Law and prophets: Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city (REV. 22:14); And behold I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his works shall be (22:12). That’s the works of the Law and the prophets, my dear readers, not whether you’ve merely made a confession of Yahshua as your Messiah and attend church every Sunday.
And the Spirit and (those already of) the bride say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (REV. 22:17).
Yahshua’s Way is free. The world’s is not. It will cost you your eternal soul.
Having read REVELATION and to this point in my blog, ask yourself truly, have I added or taken anything away from the words of the book of this prophecy as the angel of YHWH so warns us not to do? Do I interpret it according to my own or some other’s opinions? Am I living the Word literally or do I pick and choose which parts I should obey according to my likes and dislikes? Do I reason and rationalize – no, that’s for the Jews or ancient Israel, or someone else, not for today?
Take care. Father issues the solemn warning: He shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book,
YaH’s Way may be free but it is not easy. It will cost you your old sinful self. But you receive a better person back immediately you give it.
